SAN ANTONIO -

A fire that started in a clothes dryer caused about $25,000 worth of damage to a San Antonio home.

The fire broke out early Friday morning at a home near Hines and Rotary on the East Side.

San Antonio fire crews arrived to find the home full of smoke, but contained the fire to the dryer area. Everyone got out safe, but the smoke damage was extensive.

Fire officials say it started in the lint trap. They advise people to check their lint traps periodically.
