SAN ANTONIO -

A 31-year-old man is accused of making threats against a local college where he had been a student.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated that Karon Fry was asked to leave the school on Jan. 8. He was then escorted off the property and told not to return.

San Antonio police said witnesses told them that as Fry was leaving, he threatened to burn down the school. The affidavit does not mention the college by name. However, on his Facebook page, Fry stated that he attended Brown Mackie College in San Antonio.

According to the affidavit, he returned to the campus on Jan. 28 and pulled out a knife on an elevator, then threatened to bomb the building. Fry made at least two more visits to the school in February, the affidavit stated.

Police were called to the campus after each visit, but Fry had already left the property by the time they arrived, the affidavit stated. Fry was arrested Thursday on a charge of making a terroristic threat.
