HOUSTON – Family and friends of two Houston-area Marines are praying and holding out all hope as the military continues the search for them and 10 of their comrades in Hawaii.

Maj. Shawn Campbell and Cpl. Matthew Drown, both from Klein, are among the missing.
Campbell attended Klein High School before going on to Texas A & M, where graduated in 2001. He is a pilot who deployed to the Middle East three times and may have been flying one of the CH-53 helicopters that went down in Hawaii.
Family friend Julie Golvach says her thoughts are with the major's wife, Kelli, and four children.
"Definitely thinking about them right now, and especially the children," says Golvach. "His oldest son, I know, is very, very close to him. I'm sure the daughters as well."
Drown graduated from Klein Oak High School in 2011. His brother tells Channel 2 that Drown is a loving uncle and son who takes great pride in his job with the Marine Corps. ;In a statement .he goes on to say Drown "loved his family, friends and everyone he had the chance to meet. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone he could. We are still hoping for his safe return home."
Both families are thankful for the prayers and support they've already received and ask people to keep giving it.
