SAN ANTONIO -

Jay Gonzalez spoke to her sister Jennifer on the Fourth of July last year. That’s the last time the two would ever speak to each other.

Jennifer Gonzalez's body was found dumped near a West Side apartment complex four days later.

Police said she was naked from the waist down and had probably been in the area for several days.

“It’s been hard,” Jay Gonzalez said. “My mom, my dad, my grandma, there’s not a day that goes by that we don’t think about her.”

Gonzalez said her sister’s death has also taken a toll on her nephews who still do not know the truth behind their mother’s death.

“We just tell them the easiest thing possible, she’s in Disneyland riding her own rides,” Gonzalez said.

To keep her sister’s murder and the search for her killer fresh in people’s minds, family posted flyers in the area where her body was found Thursday pleading for anyone with information to come forward.

“Just come up. You don’t have to give your name. You don’t have to say where you're at. Just tell us something, so we can at least let her go.” she said. “We’re not going to let her go until we found out who did it.”
