SAN ANTONIO -

A fire at a vacant home in north San Antonio left behind extensive damage.  

The fire broke out around 2:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Waldo. Flames were shooting through the roof when firefighters arrived, and a large portion of the roof collapsed over the home.  

Fire crews extinguished the fire at the one story home quickly.  The arson unit was called to investigate a cause. No injuries were reported. Damage estimates were unknown Monday morning.
