Dry cleaning machine sparks multi-hour building fire

Northeast Side building is a total loss

SAN ANTONIO – A Northeast Side building is destroyed after a two alarm fire broke out late Saturday night.

According to the San Antonio Fire Department, around 11:30 p.m. crews responded to calls of smoke coming out of the building in the 11100 block of Osgood Street.

Firefighters battled the blaze for two hours. Fire Fighters said the roof and walls collapse and the building is a total loss.

Arson investigators believe the fire may have been cause by a dry cleaning machine.
