Firefighters battled a stubborn brush and grass fire for more than three hours Saturday.
The fire started around 11 a.m. near the intersection of Midcrown and Eisenhauer.
More than three hours later firefighters finally managed to get all the flames and hotspots out.
They say shifting winds and muddy grounds near a pond made their job tough.
When the fire started it burned near some homes, but the wind shifted and pushed the flames in the opposite direction.
After about and hour and a half crews had most of the fire under control, but still had to battle numerous hotspots burning in the fire zone.
Firefighters have fought numerous brush and grass fires over the past couple of days.
