SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio firefighters responded to an overnight fire that tore through part of a family's home, fire officials said Tuesday.
The fire happened just before midnight in the 3300 block of Butterleigh Drive, found on the city's far North Side.
Firefighters said the flames started in the garage before making its way up the wall and onto the second story of the home.
Everyone inside the house did make it out safely, fire officials said.
First responders were able to contain the fire to just the one wall on both the first and second floor.
There is no word yet as to how the fire started, or how much damage was caused.
The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
