Another round of cold weather and a chance for light freezing rain is in the forecast for the San Antonio area early this week.
The National Weather Service says an arctic air mass will settle into the region Monday causing temperatures to remain steady or fall.
Blustery winds will continue Monday with temperatures falling to near or below freezing across much of the area.
The NWS says there is a chance of drizzle or light rain throughout the day Monday, but those percentages increase in the evening and light freezing rain is possible into early Tuesday morning.
Temperatures are predicted to go above freezing during the day Tuesday, but will drop below freezing again Tuesday night bringing another chance of light freezing rain before the precipitation ends around midnight.
The high for Monday will be around 50 with a low near 38. Tuesday's high will be near 40 with a low around 32.
