SAN ANTONIO – Facebook Live: It’s not just for your local news anchors or your favorite celebrities. The San Antonio Water System will use the social media platform to interact with the community, in hopes of gathering input on the city’s proposed water management plan.
Water System officials are planning on hosting a Facebook Live discussion from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, featuring SAWS Vice President Donovan Burton. Officials hope the online format encourages participation and input.

People will be able to submit questions and comments during the live broadcast, or ahead of time, by emailing WMP-Input@saws.org.
Officials will accept community comments at the email address listed through Aug. 15.
