HOUSTON -

Charges have been filed against the woman police said beat her boyfriend to death with a stiletto pump, according to Houston police.

Officials said Ana Lilia Trujillo, 44, is charged with murder for the deadly beating that occurred early Sunday morning at a condo in the 1700 block of Hermann.

Just before 4 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a 911 call from a woman, later identified as Trujillo, who said she was being beaten inside a Parklane condominium.

"There was a large amount of blood that was in the residence and some debris that looks like from an altercation that took place, but she actually called 911," said Houston police officer Brian Evans. "Yes, advised that she was being struck and needed medical help for a male."

When officers arrived, Trujillo answered the door.

"They proceeded to Unit 18B, a female opened the door and officers stepped inside and found the male inside deceased," said Evans.

The victim, a 59-year-old man, was found beaten and lying on the floor between the kitchen and the foyer surrounded by a large amount of blood.

Investigators said the man, who lived in the condo, was beaten to death with a stiletto heel.

Trujillo was taken to the police station and questioned by HPD Homicide Division investigators.

She was charged with murder Monday morning.
