iPad baby seat: good idea or bad parenting?
Fisher-Price Apptivity Seat for iPad designed for newborns
The Fisher-Price Apptivity Seat for iPad is a soothing baby rocker designed with an arm to hold an iPad. Its other features include toys for babies to bat at, and a mirror that shows the baby's reflection when an iPad is not in place.
While many kids are fascinated by smartphones and tablets, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no screen time for children under the age of 2. According to the AAP website, "A child's brain develops rapidly during these first years, and young children learn best by interacting with people, not screens."
