Had enough Johnny Manziel stories yet? "Texas Monthly" doesn't think so.
The Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman winner is on the cover of September's "Texas Monthly" depicted as a superhero flying out of Kyle Field in College Station.
"Texas Monthly" is the latest publication to put Manziel on the cover, but according to their website, they began to work on their story in December after Manziel had just won the Heisman.
The story shifted during the off-season as Manziel became involved in several incidents that garnered him negative publicity.
S. C. Gwynne wrote the cover story titled "Who Is Johnny Football?” It will be online later this week and on newsstands next week.
It looks into Manziel's Kerrville background and how Johnny Football almost single-handedly carried the Aggies into the national spotlight.
