A publicity stunt that involved the new video of rapper Kanye West did not go as planned across San Antonio Sunday night.
West was reportedly going to promote his new video for the song "New Slaves" at the Alamo, but the showing never happened.
The video was supposed to be projected on the Alamo's facade at 11:30 p.m., but protestors and San Antonio police showed up and the video was not shown.
Hundreds of West fans were in attendance after the stunt was promoted on social media and West's website.
Other video premiere attempts at North Star Mall and the Pioneer Mill also failed.
