Bexar County investigators have released the name of the kidnapping suspect who shot and killed his victim when confronted by a deputy.
He is 28-year-old Fredy Suazo-Perez.
According to the medical examiner's report, he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound -- not from a deputy's bullet.
The incident happened on July 2 in South Bexar County.
At the time, that deputy wasn't sure if he hit Suazo-Perez.
He fired at him after witnessing Suazo-Perez shoot his victim, 21-year-old Yvette Ramos.
She was also killed.
