SAN ANTONIO -

A driver gets cut-off on the highway and ends up in a major accident.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 17000 block of 281 North.

According to police, the driver was going south when he said he was cut-off on the access road.

His car jumped the curb, hit several street signs and a light pole, then he crossed the street and hit another light pole before crashing into the cement bridge over the highway.

Police say the driver was detained for evaluation and his passenger was taken to North Central Baptist with minor injuries.

No word on any charges.
