Police say a speeding driver crashed into a wall, closing down a section of I-35 for hours early Sunday.
That crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 9400 block of 35 N.
Investigators say two men apparently were speeding when they lost control and slammed into a concrete retaining wall.
The impact trapped the men in the car and fire crews had to cut them out.
EMS transported both men to SAMMC. The passenger was in critical condition and the driver in serious.
Police are now investigating whether a road rage incident led to the crash, and whether alcohol was involved.
