A south Bexar County resident was arrested after his girlfriend told Bexar County sheriff's deputies he tied her up and held her in their home for three days.
Jesus Moreno, 32, is facing a charge of unlawful restraint.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that the woman called deputies Friday morning after she allegedly untied herself and escaped from the home in the 15400 block of Belen Street. They found her at a convenience store on FM 1937.
The affidavit stated that she told them Moreno had used shoelaces and a belt to tie her up after an argument July 9.
She said he then placed her face-down on a sofa and left her that way until she freed herself three days later, the affidavit stated.
It stated that the woman said she feared for her life because Moreno told her he was going out to get a hammer to "smash her head in and bury her."
Moreno was arrested later and booked into the Bexar County jail with bond set at $3,500.
