SAN ANTONIO -

A Live Oak resident is accused of holding sexually charged conversations with what he believed was a 15-year-old girl.

In reality the person on the other end of those conversations was a San Antonio police detective, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Adam Ingram, 30, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of online solicitation of a minor.

The affidavit stated that Ingram believed he was chatting with a 15-year-old girl when he began talking about having sex with her, and sent nude pictures of himself.

At one point, police said Ingram stood in front of a webcam in the nude and performed a sex act, the affidavit stated.

The conversations went on from November 2012 until last week, the affidavit stated.

Detectives conducted research into the owner of the name used during the chats, “kilo8831,” and determined it was Ingram, the affidavit stated.

Ingram was booked into the Bexar County Jail with bond set at $20,000.
