Man arrested for killing Papa John delivery driver

Robert Carlos Delcid, 35, facing capital murder charges

SAN ANTONIO – A man accused of killing a Papa John delivery driver was arrested Tuesday.

Robert Carlos Delcid, 35, was caught by U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force with the help of the San Antonio Police Department.

Authorities said Delcid was hiding out in a motel room located in the 900 block of Northeast Loop 410.

He is accused of stealing a car owned by William O'Neill, 46, Wednesday.

O'Neill was run over while trying to stop Delcid.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Delcid is facing capital murder charges.
