NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -

A man wanted by U.S. Marshals for allegedly raping a woman in New Braunfels is now in custody.

Rocky Leandro Orosco, 28, was arrested Wednesday at a home where he was reportedly hiding out.

Officers with the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force were watching the house when Orosco showed up.

According to investigators, he tried to run but was quickly arrested and taken into custody.

Orosco is accused of violently and brutally raping a woman on Nov. 29.

A warrant for his arrest was issued on Tuesday after an investigation was conducted by the Comal County Sheriff’s Office.

Orosco is a confirmed member of the Texas Syndicate gang and is currently being held at the Comal County Jail.
