KIRBY, Texas -

Kirby police have arrested a man suspected of murdering another man last week.

Kirby police took 35-year-old Levi Bonds in custody and charged him with capital murder.

Bonds is accused of murdering 67-year-old Stephen Knutson.

Knutson's body was found last Thursday with his neck broken and multiple stab wounds, inside his trailer in Kirby.

They say Bonds told his girlfriend he snapped after Knutson "caressed his hand."

Bonds allegedly took the victim's car, went shopping with his credit cards and had his girlfriend pawn all the stuff they bought, in addition to Knutson's TV.

She has not been arrested yet.
