Shawn Christian Cain arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

SAN ANTONIO – A local man has been arrested for his part in a shooting that wounded a man on the city's Northwest Side.

Shawn Christian Cain was arrested in relation to a shooting that occurred in the 5500 block of Timber Hawk in January, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

According to the affidavit, a man said he saw multiple people breaking into his neighbor's vehicle and tried to confront them. 

During the confrontation one of the men pulled out a gun and fired several times, the affidavit said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for his injuries. The man was able to identify Cain as one of the suspects through a photo, the affidavit said. 

Cain has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
