SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken in for emergency surgery after being stabbed on the West Side.
Police said two men got into an argument in front of a home in the 1900 block of Saunders Avenue.

One of the men then pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the stomach, police said.
The victim, described to be in his late 20s to early 30s, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police said he was taken into surgery and was downgraded to non-life-threatening injuries.
Police spoke with the suspect, but there was no word on any charges.
