Man in Halloween mask robs Northside bank

Armed suspect handed teller note demanding money

SAN ANTONIO – A man wearing a Halloween mask and armed with a gun robbed a far Northside bank Friday afternoon.

Police said the man handed a teller a note demanding money, and then ran after getting the cash.

The robbery happened at the Chase Bank branch on Evans Road near Bulverde  Road around 3:15 p.m. 

Police said the robber had a goatee peeking from underneath the mask.

Officers checked the area around the bank on the ground and from the air, but could not locate the suspect.
