SAN ANTONIO – A man who was already in the Bexar County Jail for allegedly assaulting a public servant now stands accused of attacking a detention deputy while behind bars.
According to the warrant for his arrest, 52-year-old Robert Roach attacked the deputy while he was in his cell earlier this month.

The deputy was removing paper from a light fixture Roach had refused to remove.
That’s when deputies say Roach became angry with the deputy and swung at him, hitting him on the left side of his face.
The two men fought in the cell for a moment before the deputy managed to put cuffs on Roach.
