SAN ANTONIO -

A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on Loop 410 Friday night, and police are searching for a driver who could faces charges.

Investigators say the cycle rider apparently tried to take the exit from SW 410 to I-35 just after 11 p.m.

They say he was speeding and crashed the motorcycle as he made the turn.

The victim flew off from his bike and a driver then hit him.

Police say a second driver then ran him over again.

That first driver stopped. The second driver did not.

The cycle rider died at the scene.

Police say the first driver will not be charged because it was an unavoidable accident.

But they say the second driver could face failure to stop and render aid charges for leaving the scene of the fatality.

The victim has not yet been identified.
