Man robbed, shot at South Side motel

Victim in critical condition

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating an overnight shooting on the city's South Side.

Police said the man was headed to the 4000 block of Roosevelt Avenue to pick someone up early Saturday morning.

Police said when the man got out of his truck, someone robbed him and shot him multiple times.

The man got back into his truck and drove to find help. Emergency medical services personnel picked him up in the 100 block of Gillette Boulevard.

The man was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. Police are working to track down the suspect.
