SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Payless shoe store at gunpoint on Jan. 9.
Police said the man showed interest in a pair of boots at the store at 12822 I-10 West, then walked to the registers and displayed a black handgun while demanding employees open the register.

The man grabbed money from the register and left in an unknown direction, police said.
The man is only described as being white and 20-25 years old.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.
