A driver suffered critical injuries after rolling his SUV on a busy stretch of Loop 410 Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. on the southwest part of the Loop near Old Pearsall Rd.
Police say the man drove alone on the highway when he rolled his vehicle.
They say no one witnessed the wreck, but people passing by just after the crash stopped to help the driver.
Police say those people tried to pull the man out, but could not.
He had to be cut from the wreck by firefighters.
An AirLife helicopter transported him from the scene to University Hospital with severe injuries to his head, arms and hand.
Police are now investigating to find out what caused the man to lose control.
