SAN ANTONIO -

A group of men were fired at after they left a northwest San Antonio strip club early Wednesday morning.

Three males in their 20s to 30s told police they had just left Sugar's strip club around 2:30 a.m. when a car pulled up next to them on Loop 410 near Exchange Parkway.

Someone inside the car fired shots in their direction and hit a man in the front passenger seat in the back, police said.

The suspect in the car fled after the shooting and the victims drove to the San Antonio Police Department West Substation on Culebra for help.

The gunshot victim was taken to University Hospital in serious condition, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.

San Antonio police have not what may have led to the shooting or if there was an incident inside the strip club.
