SAN ANTONIO -

A man who was shot in the head, hand, leg and arm last month not only managed to survive, but also told San Antonio Police Department detectives who pulled the trigger.

Larry Coats, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, according to an arrest affidavit.

Coats was taken into custody in connection with a shooting that occurred on Sept. 18 in the 2100 block of Burnet near North Walters.

Police responded to the shooting and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The affidavit stated investigators believed the victim did not have much of a chance to survive, but he was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center and treated for his injuries.

The affidavit stated he then cooperated with detectives and pointed out Coats in a photo lineup.
