Man stabbed in eye over money

Suspect arrested

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police arrested a man after he allegedly stabbed another man over money Sunday night. 

The altercation happened around 9 p.m. in the 6800 block of Pecan Valley Drive. 

Police said two men were arguing over money one man owed the other. 

The two men started physically fighting when one man pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the eye, police said. 

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 

Police said the man who stabbed him ran from the scene. He was arrested 20 minutes later near the intersection of Cornish Avenue and Clark Avenue.
