SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after being stabbed during a confrontation at an apartment complex overnight, San Antonio police said Friday.
The incident took place just after 11 p.m. Thursday at the Park on Bandera Apartments, found in the 2000 block of Bandera Road on the city's Northwest Side.
Police said a man knocked on the door of a woman's apartment and got into an argument with a man inside. The two men then took the fight outside, and that's when, police said, the man who knocked on the door stabbed the other in the chest.
The suspect then ran away from the scene on foot, police said.
Emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene. The name of the victim is not presently known.
So far no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
