SAN ANTONIO -

The body of a man was found in the middle of Interstate 35 early Monday morning. San Antonio police said the man had been struck by several cars.

Officers found the victim's body in the main lanes of Interstate 35 North near the Walzem Road exit in northeast San Antonio.

Police determined the victim had been struck several times by more than one vehicle while trying to cross the north-bound lanes of I-35.
