SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in indentifying a man who they said held up a northwest side convenience store at knife-point.

San Antonio police investigators said the man robbed the Valero, located at 1203 Austin Hwy, just before midnight on April 18.

Police said the man displayed a knife, threatened a customer and demanded cash from the clerk. They said he grabbed a cash box from the clerk and fled.

The suspect is described as being a Hispanic male, about 30-35 years old, about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds, with black hair and a goatee. He was wearing a gray San Antonio Spurs sweatshirt and a red ball cap.

He is wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery.
