SAN ANTONIO -

A man with mittens on his hands grabbed a large amount of cash from a westside pizza restaurant employee Saturday morning.

Police say that man approached the woman as she walked out of the Little Caesar's on Gen. McMullen near Castroville around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators say the woman had a bank bag with about $3,400 in cash inside.

They say the man walked up and yelled threats at the woman.

Police say she handed over the cash bag and the man ran.

The employee told police the robber had on a black hoodie and white mittens.

They searched the area but found no sign of the robber.
