SAN ANTONIO – The Archdiocese of San Antonio has announced a memorial service for Father Virgil Elizondo, who died Monday.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Lima Church at 9883 Marbach Road.

The archdiocese said Elizondo served as a parochial vicar at the church for many years.
Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller will preside of the service, which will be in both English and Spanish.
A private internment service will take place at a later date.
