SAN ANTONIO -

Two men who reportedly posed as police officers are sought in connection with a violent home invasion on the Northwest Side early Monday morning.
According to San Antonio police, it happened at an apartment behind a home in the 1500 block of West Hollywood at around 5:20 a.m.
"They knocked on the door, identified themselves as police. The occupants of the home let them into the house. Two suspects stormed in. They were both wearing hoodies," said Sgt. Javier Salazar of the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said one man was armed with a gun and the other had a baton.
San Antonio police said the pair raided the apartment and stole a TV, laptop and cash. They also assaulted and tied up the occupants before they fled on foot.
The men inside the apartment suffered gashes, cuts and bruises, and were not taken to a hospital by EMS. A woman inside the apartment was not hurt.
"We're asking if anyone has any information on this whatsoever, they are to call the San Antonio Police Department as soon as possible," Salazar said.
Police have a description of the suspects but have not announced any arrests.
