The following non-school related delays have been reported for the San Antonio area and Bexar County.

  • All non-essential Baptist Health System employees should not report to work until 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24.
  • Bexar County operations will be delayed to 10 a.m. Friday because of the weather. This includes the Courthouse, Justice Center, Paul Elizondo Tower, Vista Verde Plaza as well as satellite Tax and Justice of the Peace offices.
  • BAMC inpatient and mission-essential personnel should report at the regular duty time.
  • City of San Antonio employees should report to work on Friday, Jan. 24 at regularly scheduled times. Click here for more information.
  • City of Converse closed until noon Friday.
  • Comal County offices will be closed the morning of Friday, Jan. 24, but anticipated to be open at noon.
  • CPS Energy's walk-in customer service centers will open Friday at 11 a.m.
  • Due to inclement weather, the offices of the Floresville Electric Light and Power System (FELPS) will open at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24.
  • Generations FCU branches will delay opening until noon.
  • By direction of the Joint Base San Antonio commander, late reporting for non-mission essential personnel has been authorized for those assigned to Joint Base San Antonio to include JBSA Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, JBSA Lackland and JBSA Randolph. All JBSA personnel should plan their commutes so that they arrive for work at 10 a.m.
  • City of Kerrville operations will be closed today, Friday, Jan. 24 effective immediately due to inclement weather with the exception of Public Safety and Public Works staff.
  • McNay Art Museum is closed Friday, Jan. 24.
  • Nationwide Office on delayed start. Campus opens at noon.
  • Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union will delay opening at all locations until noon Friday.
  • Recycling and garbage services will take place today in San Antonio.
  • Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) offices will delay office openings at all Bexar County office locations until 10 a.m. DPS Offices will also be closed in Comal and Guadalupe County until 10 a.m.
  • San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) will delay opening until 10 a.m. Friday.
  • San Antonio Humane Society will be closed Friday, Jan. 24 due to the inclement weather.
  • San Antonio Water System (SAWS) employees should report to work by 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24.
  • The City of San Marcos will delay opening by 2 hours on Friday Jan. 24. City emergency crews will report for duty as requested by supervisors.
  • Security Service Federal Credit Union has delayed opening for all SA area locations to 10 a.m.
  • South Texas Cardiovascular Consultants closed Friday, all locations
  • SWBC employees should arrive to work at 11 a.m.
  • University Health System is opening locations on time. Staff who lives in an area impacted by the highway closures, may report two hours later than their scheduled work time.
  • All USAA San Antonio Area offices will delay opening until 11 a.m.
  • VIA service is operating Friday. However, due to weather conditions and highway closures, expect some delays in service. Check the VIA website or Facebook for updates.
