SAN ANTONIO -

A man and woman who were arrested in connection with a convenience store robbery are facing new charges.

Jacob Adame, 47, and Olivia Lopez, 38, were taken into custody earlier this month and charged with holding up a Valero store in the 11000 block of Potranco Road.

According to an arrest affidavit, police have now linked the pair to another aggravated robbery at a Subway restaurant in the 6000 block of Ingram Road.

The affidavit stated Adame and Lopez walked into the Subway last month and asked for a manager.

An employee said the manager was not present and was then told by Lopez, "We just want the money."

The affidavit stated Lopez then pointed to Adame and told the Subway employee, "He has a gun, so just give us the money."

The employee told police Adame displayed the handle of the gun and the pair stole some cash before fleeing the scene.

San Antonio police believe the pair is behind close to dozen robberies because the description of the couple and style of robbery is similar, the affidavit stated. Both have been charged with aggravated robbery.
