Motorcyclist thrown from bike after failing to stop, police say

Accident occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday on I-10 EB near Foster Rd

SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist was thrown from his bike during a traffic accident overnight, San Antonio police said Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday on I-10 eastbound near Foster Road.

Police said the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was not paying attention when he rear-ended a car in front of him that was slowing down.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and suffered minor injuries, police said.

No charges are expected as a result of the accident.
