Two people are dead and as many as 16 people were shot early Monday at a nightclub in Fort Myers, Florida.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. at Club Blu, which was hosting a teen party.
The victims have not yet been identified by authorities
Police put the number of wounded at between 14 and 16 with injuries ranging from minor to life-threatening. .
WPTV reported shootings in at least two other locations in Fort Myers.
WINK reports that authorities say one person has been detained.
