SAN ANTONIO -

A 19-year-old woman identified as Chloe Beavers is accused of forcing an underage girl to work as a prostitute, placing ads on the internet to attract customers.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated that the girl, who is a runaway, made “several outcries” about being a victim of human trafficking.

It stated that she claimed to have been working for Beavers and an unidentified man, off and on, since May 2012, when she ran away from home.

Investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety looked into those claims and said they found an “adult escort advertisement on a website called Backpage.com.

The ad featured pictures of a female, portrayed as a 20-year-old, and dressed in lingerie, the affidavit stated.

Investigators said they found evidence tying Beavers’ cell phone number to that ad and others, depicting other females in lingerie and sexually suggestive poses, the affidavit stated.

They said the girl also identified Beavers in a photo lineup as the woman who had been forcing her into prostitution, the affidavit stated.

Beavers was arrested Thursday on a charge of trafficking of a child with the intent of forced labor.
