SAN ANTONIO – The Northside Independent School District is investigating after more than a dozen students allegedly drank alcohol on school grounds.
The incident happened on Wednesday at Pease Middle School.

A district spokesman said one student brought two water bottles to school that contained tea mixed with alcohol.
Thirteen students were possibly involved in the incident. The school district said some of them may not have known what was in the bottle before drinking from it. Their parents have been notified.
Disciplinary action could range from a suspension up to a hearing for placement in an alternative school.
