SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police arrested two men in connection with a pair of Sonic carhop robberies last month.

An arrest affidavit stated 19-year-old Justin Stuckey and 18-year-old Ruben Barker ordered soft drinks at a Sonic on Fredericksburg Road on May 27.

The carhop approached the car and the driver pointed a gun at the worker and forced her to hand over her apron full of cash. The suspects fled the scene and employees called police.

The next day, two suspects robbed another Sonic in the same fashion, this time in the 7900 block of Bandera Road. Police were called and tracked down the suspect's vehicle, and found evidence of the robberies inside, the affidavit stated.

Stuckey and Barker were taken in for questioning and both have been charged with aggravated robbery, the affidavit stated.
