SAN ANTONIO -

A passenger is credited with pulling a driver to safety after a rollover accident in northeast San Antonio.

Police said the pair was involved a high speed crash just after 11 p.m. at Interstate 35 and Thousand Oaks.

The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a concrete barrier and flipped. His passenger was not injured and managed to pull him out of the wreckage.

The driver was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center and listed in stable condition. Charges were unknown Tuesday morning.
