SAN ANTONIO – A pedestrian who was struck by an 18-wheeler on the Southwest Side died at the hospital late Monday night.
San Antonio police said the accident happened along SW Loop 410 near Highway 90.
Police said the victim was walking in the median when he was struck by the big rig. The driver failed to stop and render aid.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead at approximately 10 p.m. His name has not been released by the Bexar County Medical Examiner.
