Crime Stoppers is asking for assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect. 

Witnesses told police a man walked into the Compass Bank at 4739 Fredericksburg Road on Monday and demanded money from a teller. The teller told police the man made a gesture that indicated he had a weapon. The clerk placed an undisclosed amount of cash in the bag.  

Witnesses said the man ran out of the bank and was limping and dropped a hat. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask, a beige camouflage hat and was carrying a bag.

Anyone with information on the man or his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP (7867). 

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
