Police ID man wanted in fatal hit-and-run
Isidro Espinosa-Solis, 39, wanted in death of Tatyana Babineaux, 9
San Antonio police late Friday afternoon identified the man who they said struck and killed a 9-year-old girl on Wednesday.
According to police, Isidro Espinosa-Solis, 39, who is also known as Isidro Solis-Espinosa, is wanted on a charge of failure to stop and render aid -- serious bodily injury.
Police investigators said he was driving a newer model pewter-colored Chevrolet Colorado when he hit Tatyana Babineaux, who was walking to Larkspur Elementary School in the 11000 block of Braesview, on Wednesday morning.
They said Solis fled. His truck was found Friday morning behind a house in the 100 block of Fay Avenue on the South Side. Residents of the home claim they had nothing to do with the accident.
Crime Stoppers will pay $5,000 for information that leads Solis' arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP or visit www.sacrimestoppers.com. To text a tip, Text "Tip 127 plus your tip" to CRIMES (274637).
